Nikki Bella and Artem Chigvintsev are Married!

The Story
It’s official! Nikki Bella, one-half of the Bella Twins phenomenon with twin sister, Brie Bella, has married Dancing with the Stars professional, Artem Chigvintsev. The couple met in 2017 during Season 25 of DWTS where a romance between the two soon followed. They became engaged in January of 2020 and in July of the same year, Nikki and Artem welcomed their first child, a baby boy whom they named Matteo. Sharing this message on both Twitter and Instagram, Nikki says, “We said I DO, can’t wait to share the entire journey with you all when our four-part special event, Nikki Bella Says I Do, premieres on E! Entertainment.” The two tied the knot on Monday, August 29, 2022, in Paris, France.

Abron’s Hot Take
I had the pleasure of interviewing both Nikki and Brie for their cover story in LaPalme Magazine where we discussed everything from career to relationships. Still engaged at the time, Nikki shared this about her relationship with Artem, “With Artem, things feel easier in a lot of ways. I don’t feel as much pressure and I can genuinely be who I am. I made mistakes in my last relationship. Sometimes we hold ourselves to certain expectations and when we don’t meet those expectations, we become hard on ourselves, and I did that which was ultimately just hurting myself. I’ve learned how to communicate differently and be firm in what I want, recognizing that if it works that’s great and if not, that’s fine too and I can move forward. It took me a long time to realize not to settle for less and whatever life you want, you go for it and live it because that’s what brings true happiness. Artem has just calmed my soul.”

I’m thrilled and excited that Nikki has her happily ever after! During our interview, I felt drawn to her infectious energy and bubbly personality. Sticking true to her word, she also shared in our talk that she would be open to having a wedding special to share with her fans, the “Bella Army,” and she’s doing just that in her upcoming E! special. I can’t wait to watch!
